Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all digital products and services offered through jorgehi.com, including but not limited to downloadable tools and online courses. All purchases made on this website are digital in nature and are delivered immediately or within a short timeframe after payment. As such, specific rules apply regarding the possibility of refunding or cancelling purchases, in line with applicable consumer protection laws, including Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and its national transpositions.

1. GENERAL CONDITIONS

By purchasing any product or service from jorgehi.com, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • The content is digital and/or streamed, not delivered on physical media.
  • Access to digital content begins immediately upon purchase.
  • You expressly waive your right of withdrawal once access to the content has started, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

However, we provide a limited and clearly defined refund policy under the conditions outlined below.

2. REFUND POLICY FOR TOOLS (DIGITAL DOWNLOADS)

All tools and downloadable utilities offered on this website are sold as-is, and refunds are not accepted under any general circumstances.

Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:

  • Incompatibility with your software, operating system, or local environment.
  • Accidental purchases or mistaken orders.
  • Performance not meeting subjective expectations.
  • Lack of support or assistance, which is not included.
  • Misinterpretation of product features that were clearly described prior to purchase.
  • Discovery of bugs or limitations that do not prevent basic access to the product.

Exceptional Case — Access Failure

A refund may be considered only in the following specific case:

  • You are unable to download or access the product after purchase, and
  • The issue is not caused by your local configuration, and
  • You notify us within 7 calendar days of purchase and provide detailed information, and
  • The issue is not resolved within 10 calendar days of our confirmation of the problem.

If all the above conditions are met, we may issue a refund at our discretion.

3. REFUND POLICY FOR ONLINE COURSES

Online courses are delivered through streaming and consist of pre-recorded lessons and interactive exercises. Courses are not downloadable, and include a certificate of completion upon successful finalization.

You may request a refund if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The request is made within 15 calendar days of purchase.
  • You have accessed less than 25% of the course content.
  • The certificate of completion has not been issued.
  • You provide a reasonable justification for the request, such as lack of access or a significant discrepancy between the course content and the product description.

Refunds will NOT be granted under the following circumstances:

  • You have completed 25% or more of the course.
  • You have already received the certificate of completion.
  • You request a refund for lack of personal support or mentoring, which is not offered or guaranteed.
  • You are dissatisfied with the course but the content matches the description shown before purchase.
  • You report a technical issue after 7 days without previous notice or evidence.
  • You purchased the course by mistake or changed your mind after beginning it.
  • You lack access to third-party software licenses required for course exercises, as software licenses are never included with course purchases.

All refund requests for courses are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If approved, the refund will be issued using the same method of payment used at the time of purchase.

4. SOFTWARE AND THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

Some courses may reference or demonstrate the use of third-party software, including but not limited to professional tools such as compositing, editing, or 3D software.

Please note:

  • No software licenses are included with the courses.
  • We are not affiliated with any software company or vendor mentioned.
  • We are not responsible for your ability to access, install, or license any third-party software.
  • Any usage shown is purely demonstrative and educational.

5. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

  • The order number or payment confirmation.
  • A detailed explanation of the reason for your request.
  • In the case of courses, an estimate of how much content you have accessed.
